ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia staff will have until Saturday to host recruits on campus before the contact period ends on Sunday.

The Bulldogs will be hosting some impressive 2023 and 2024 prospects and Dawg Post confirmed that multiple top targets plan to be in town.

Here is a short list of players who have confirmed to Dawg Post that will be in Athens on Saturday:

The Bulldogs have +350 odds to win the 2022-23 CFP Championship according to FanDuel.

***We will update as we can confirm

5-star RB Rueben Owens‍: Owens is ranked as the No.2 RB prospect in the country, the No.5 prospect in Texas, and the No.27 overall prospect in the country. He was in Athens last September to take in Georgia’s victory over South Carolina and made thee trip to Athens last summer as well.

4-star WR Zion Ragins‍ (2024):

One of the fastest prospects in the state, Ragins is a track star with game-changing speed at receiver. Ragins claims a 4.31 40-yard dash and is coming off a state championship performance in the GHSA track and field meet last summer. Ragins won the 5A state championship in both the 100 and 200 meter dash, but he’s more than that. Ragins is a football player who makes an impact with more than his speed. Ragins has great hands, can change directions with ease, and shows great body control when going for the football. The playmaker already caught 63 passes last fall for 1,062 yards and 9 touchdowns in 13 games.

4-star DL Kelby Collins‍:

One of the top 203 DL prospects in the South, Collins is a big 6-foot-5 250-pounder with a frame to add more weight and muscle, making him a possible force in the middle of someone’s defensive line. The Gardendale (AL) star is ranked as the No. 10 DL prospect, the No. 7 prospect in Alabama, and the No. 71 overall prospect in the country. Collins made 109 tackles, 17 sacks and 14 TFLs last fall to go along with teo fumble recoveries.

4-star TE Landen Thomas‍ (2024)

One of the top 2024 playmakers in South Georgia, sophomore tight end Landen Thomas is one of the best nationally with a great frame and athleticism. At 6-foot-4 210-pounds, Thomas is a mismatch problem for defenses. He’s a big-bodied pass catcher who is only scratching the surface of his potential. Thomas caught only 31 passes so fall, but they’ve gone for 516 yards and seven touchdowns. He’s also an impact blocker on the edge and will continue to add more weight and muscle over the next few years, helping him build more strength to go along with his ability to catch passes.

Four-star OL Zechariah Owens:

The massive 4-star prospect out of Eagles Landing Chrstian Academy stands at 6-foot-6 340-pounds and will be in Athens this weekend. He’s one of the top interior offensive lineman in Georgia at this time.

5-star DE TA Cunningham (2024):

As a sophomore last fall, Cunningham has made 51 total tackles, 13 TFLs, and three sacks. He has an ideal frame for a young defensive lineman at 6-foot-5 260-pounds with natural athleticism that allows him to dominate older players. He’s got long arms, making him so tough to block for opposing linemen. He’s a force on the edge who can collapse an entire side of the line. He holds early offers from Texas, Georgia, Auburn, among others.
