ATHENS - One of the Georgia Bulldogs’ top receivers will not return to Athens next season.
Jermaine Burton, who played in 14 of 15 games for Georgia said Wednesday that he was entering the transfer portal. Burton started eight games for the Bulldogs and ended the season with 26 catches for 497 yards and five touchdowns.
Perhaps no bigger moment came for Burton as a Bulldog than when he caught a 57-yard touchdown catch in against Michigan in the Orange Bowl. Burton follows several Bulldogs into the transfer portal including JT Daniels.
