ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs are huge favorites over in-state rival Georgia Tech.
The oddsmakers have opened up with Georgia being a 34-point favorite over the Yellow Jackets.
This is the third game in-a-row that the Bulldogs have been at least a 34-point favorite over their opponent as they end the regular season with “easy” contests. Georgia is coming off of a 56-7 win over Charleston Southern, where all four quarterbacks were given an opportunity to play.
Georgia has been a big favorite in almost every game this season, and this is the eleventh-straight game that they are projected as the likely winners. They opened up the season as underdogs to Clemson, and that clearly has not aged well.
Georgia will travel to Atlanta on Nov. 27 to hopeully cap off the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record. The Bulldogs will make another trip to Atlanta just one week later to face the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game. Georgia will likely be favored within a touchdown over Alabama, but the line has been fluid for that game.
