WATCH: UGA Target Christen Miller Gets Big Sack In Weekend Scrimmage
BUFORD - High school football is finally here and Dawg Post was in attendance to watch an ideal scrimmage to get us ready for the 2021 season.
Buford and Cedar Grove.
The powerhouse Buford Wolves hosted a Cedar Grove team with multiple players that hold an offer from Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.
One of them is four-star defensive lineman, Christen Miller.
One of the coolest and nicest guys you’ll ever meet, Miller turns on another switch once the pads come on, and he turned in another impressive performance on Friday night. While Cedar Grove lost the scrimmage, Miller showed why he’s an easy four-star prospect and one of the top defensive line prospects in the South.
Sources say the Georgia staff has been off and on with Miller in the past year, but the Cedar Grove standout told Dawg Post this weekend that the Bulldogs have always been in his ear. He added that his relationship with coach Scott and the staff is still very strong.
As far as how the scrimmage went, Miller was easy to notice all night against an impressive Buford offensive line. The Wolves made most of their big plays on the outside as Miller wasn’t going to let much go by him in the trenches. He was consistently in the backfield and had a sack and TFL early on in the scrimmage.
Not only did he do his job on the field, but he also showed his leadership on the sidelines. Miller loves to have fun and enjoy the game, and his personality is something Dawg Post rarely sees from major high school prospects.
But when it’s game time, Miller is the leader his team looks too. He plays with heart, with passion, and he makes plays over and over again.
Miller plans to make his commitment at the the Adidas All American Bowl and has a final 4 of Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, and USC.
Dawg Post ranks him as the No.10 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2022 class.
