Kirby Smart, Georgia Bulldogs Get Big Commitment from Daquayvious Sorey

ATHENS - Daquayvious Sorey made the most of the only post he’s ever made on Instagram. 

The 2023 WR posted Friday evening that he is committed to Georgia - giving the Bulldogs their third commitment in that cycle.

Even though he’s young, Sorey has turned heads - including longtime recruiting analyst Tom Lemming, who says that Sorey is “the No. 1 prospect in the Florida Panhadle.”

“I would like to start off by thanking God for giving me the ability to play the game I love,” Sorey said in a statement. “Secondly I would like to thank my Mom for the sacrifices she has Mae for me to be in this position. Also I would like to thank the rest of my family. To the Graceville community, Graceville High School and coaching staff thank you for investing in my. At 6-2, 185, Sorey will join his cousin linebacker Xavian Sorey, who picked the Bulldogs and signed with Kirby Smart’s program in December. The younger Sorey plays receiver in Florida - slashing and leaping his way past defenders to score early and often.
