WATCH: TOP UGA Target Records 17 Sacks in 2020

It’s been a big 2020 for one of the top defenders in the state in Hardaway (GA) defensive lineman, Mykel Williams‍.

The 6-foot-5 255-pounder is one of the more athletic and versatile defensive lineman in the state. He’s long, can play multiple positions, and has been a complete terror for offenses all season. He can line up on the edge or clog the middle from his defensive tackle position.

Williams is a major Bulldog target in the 2022 class and they’ll have to fight off some of the nation’s top prospects to land his signature down the road. Williams holds offers from Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, and just about every major program in America.

Williams has five-star potential and one of the nation’s top overall defenders. His play backed up his ranking this fall as Williams recorded 69 tackles, 19 TFLs, 27 QB hurries, 3 forced fumbles, and a staggering 17 sacks in just 11 games.

He’s as productive as it gets and will push for the state’s No.1 prospect down the road.
