ATHENS - No. 8 Georgia’s game with Vanderbilt has been postponed for Dec 19.
The news came at Noon eastern - just before visiting teams typically get ready to board planes for their destination. Friday was a day the SEC had set up to lay out the remainder of its SEC slate for the year, but Ole Miss also released a statement saying the school would stop football operations until December 9, which is next Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now only have two weeks - next weekend and December 19th - to complete their scheduled 2020 SEC slate. UGA officals confirmed the news officially with a statement.
Vandy, UGA and Missouri have all had the end of their years shuffled, and some games still need to be decided. Missouri still has a game at Mississippi State and Vanderbilt has a game with Tennessee still remaining on their schedule.
Georgia now has these final two weeks to play the two foes it has not yet played this season.
