ATHENS - When asked why Kirby Smart has so much success on the defense side of the ball, SEC coaches think the biggest thing going for the Dawgs is continuity. 

“That side of the ball for UGA - they know what they are doing. They teach it,” said one SECer. 

The Bulldogs led the nation in scoring defense and run defense last year. That side of the ball is seen as the reason UGA has a real shot at a championship this fall.
