On the brighter side, with this PG commit, maybe they don't take Sturdivant, who has most recently crystal balled to the Gators.

I think that's right. Mann to UF has to put us in the driver's seat for Sturdivant. I think Mann committed before Sturdivant had a chance to visit and commit. I assume USC has no available spots; they are likely holding out for 1 of 2 west coast PGs.
