#16-ranked Clemson dominated most of the game and improved to 5-0 on the season. In comparison, UGA struggled to get into any offensive rhythm and fell to 3-2 thus far.

Some notes:
- UGA started the same five players (i.e., Claxton, Ogbeide, Hammonds, Fagan, and Turtle) as they did vs. Illinois State yesterday
-- Hoop Dawgs played 12 players today; Mike Edwards was the only scholarship player not to see action
- UGA made 38% (19 of 50) of FG attempts including 27.8% (5 of 18) from 3-pt. range, and 50% (6 of 12) on FTs
-- Ogbeide was the Hoop Dawgs' lone double-digit scorer w/ 11 points on 5 of 9 FG attempts and 1 of 3 FTs
-- Claxton/Hammonds combined for 10 points vs. the Tigers a day after scoring 52 vs. the Redbirds
--- The "Slim Reaper" scored 3 points converting on 1 of 9 FG attempts and 1 of 2 FTs today
- UGA committed 17 turnovers while Clemson committed 14
- Tigers grabbed 32 rebounds (11 offensive) compared to 27 (3 offensive) for the Hoop Dawgs
- Clemson led by 8 at halftime and extended their lead to 19 points in the second half w/ ~5 minutes remaining
- Tigers advanced to the 2018 Cayman Islands Classic finals tomorrow and will face the winner of the Creighton-Georgia State game this afternoon; meanwhile, the Hoop Dawgs will play the Bluejays/Panthers loser at 5 p.m. EST on Wednesday

Lots of shooters, but not enough makers. Lots of dribblers, but not enough ball handlers.

Rebounding was the difference in this one. Hard to win when the other team takes 13 more shots than you and free throws are even.

I like where things are headed, but we're not ready for a team like Clemson yet (even though I suspect they're a tad overrated). The SEC is going to be tough this year, but as long as there is gradual improvement on the turnover front, I think we'll nab a couple wins in conference.

I'm liking some of what Fagan is showing. I'd like to see a few more minutes for Crump. Those two are our best outside shooters, and whoever is third is a distant third at that.

Let's get a win tomorrow and finish third!
