I'll go with one of the likely projected bottom five teams and take Georgia. My love for the Bulldogs' sophomore class is well-documented, and playing at a faster pace should better suit the talents of the majority of the roster.

I still don't think Crean got enough credit for orchestrating the turnaround at Indiana, and he's the type of coach that loves a challenge. This will be right in his wheelhouse, and I wouldn't be shocked to see Georgia outplay expectations this season.

Interesting write up. No question we are waaaay under the radar. Notice he did not mention a single UGA player when he discussed individual achievements in the conference. That's telling. I do think Crean will out-perform expectations. If we can get into the middle of the conference, he will have done a good job. I'm not looking for any miracle tourney runs myself.

Had lunch with an alumnus Saturday, and he says the guys are really excited for this season. His thinking is that Turtle should start and bring Hightower and Harris off the bench for firepower. I'm not sure I wouldn't want to have some firepower in the starting line-up myself. We both agreed on DO, Clax and Hammonds on the front court. We'll see. 1st exhibition in 3 days!

Hammonds is a guy I could really see becoming a star. He has the size/talent/athleticism combo for it. If he can be more consistent with his shot and become more assertive on O, he could be a go to scorer. Especially in Crean's faster pace system. If he becomes that guy, I really think UGA could be a lot better than people are predicting this year. They're not a top tier team at all. But they could be back on the bubble this year
