Neither team could hit from the perimeter in the first half, but we finally hit a few in the 2nd and pounded the ball into the paint. We dominated inside. Good win! I was astounded that our shots weren't falling in the 1st. Many wide open looks. But we kept our poise and pulled it out....

I was able to attend. It was clear wire-to-wire who the better team was, and I remain confident that the outside shots will start to fall. As Monkdawg pointed out, we were getting great looks. Hit anywhere close to a normal percentage and we run them out of their own building.
The fact that they weren't falling and we compensated not by taking panicked, bad shots but by going to the bucket and drawing fouls was wonderful to see. How many UGA teams over the past decade would have folded after giving up the run and going down early in the second half? This team has some juice.

Completely agree. That should have been a 25 pt win, honestly. We were clearly better. We could dominate them inside and shoot higher percentage shots. There are a lot of options in White's motion offense.... We did not panic at all. We have experience and leadership on this team. I've been very impressed with what Godfrey brings on both ends of the floor. Lawrence and Leffew aren't going to panic. Demary and Cain have a year under their belts. Newell is so skilled. As a side note, I re-watched the game and I think Ndongo finished with about 8 fouls. Crazy...
