He is a reclassification guy, so he is coming in young. The intention is to redshirt him. At 6'4", 170 lbs, he definitely needs to beef up and will benefit from the step up in competition....

Not Wilkins. He's next year. And he's a PF. I hear he's close to 6'11" now. Pretty good start to that class. We have the 3 now sophomores. And the guys you mentioned plus Godfrey - SF, and Tyrin Lawrence - SG. Yes, the Serbian PG is still in play, though he has not announced as yet. I still think we are 1 SF short, but we'll just play 3 guards A LOT....

Based on play in NIT, do you see Dylan James playing the 3 or a step back 4? Okay from 3, poor from FT!

If we had a true 5, and 2 of them. He would play the 4 more often, but I think with the lack of true Center depth many forwards, and size he will split, minutes at the 3 but I think he's better at the 4

I think James is more of a stretch 4 myself.

Somto Cyril is definitely a true 5. I think Abson backs him up, but he will be undersized a bit.

Has the pg from Siberia signed with us ? That is only 2 players, isn' t there 1 more signing

It's just Serbia. People just throw out other Euro countries when they can't remember which one - although I think Siberia is Asia. LOL

Coach White has done an awesome job putting this team together.

I agree. I don't think the roster is elite by any means, but it has the talent to be a tournament team. I think the goal this year should be a 8-9. 12 if we start weak and go on a run to win a conference tournament because I believe that's where the last P5 teams sneak in. Maybe in the first 4 games. If Mike white can't at least be a bubble team this year. Something's gotta change. No excuse with this roster even if it isn't the best in the country.

Kind of agree and disagree.

I found very interesting the recent interviews with White where he acknowledged some of the things they did with last year's team on macro and micro levels did not work. Maybe even backfired.

It has got to be very hard to integrate 8-9 new players from grad to high school into a squad with 3-4 other existing players.

I don't think a yearly 8/4 model is a blue print for success long term. I just hope he learned from last year and gets this team rolling.
