by a late TO and failure to get the last shot and then going cold in the OT. Hill tried to be the hero again as he was against FSU but lost the handle. He would have been better to pass the ball or let someone bigger drive to try to draw a foul. All we needed was 1 FT. Menendez really showed what his potential is in this one. Wow! Jabri is in a bit of a shooting slump, and he needs to come out of it for us to win. Thomasson, too. Now, can someone explain why Sunahara is still starting? Hasn't he shown that he gives us nothing? About the only thing he contributed was a TO. And if we had shot our FTs like we have most of the season, we would have won the game. It's hard to win on the road; it hurts to kinda give one away.

I think you nailed the current situation to a "T".
I would like to know what White actually drew up on the Hill gaffe. If that was him, that's on him.
If you contrast and compare scores and results form our common opponents, it bodes well for us.
Not sure NCAA well, but we're going to beat some folks that aren't expecting it.

We have no "bad" losses and a few good wins. I'm surprised that Oregon has lost 6 games; I thought they were stronger than that. FSU is really playing better since we beat them.Nostradawgus said:

I think we have progressed since last season, but we still have a loooong way to go as a program.
I applaud Hill's willingness to take the last shot. Many players don't want that responsibility. But sometimes you just have to pass the ball. I hated that Demary had fouled out because with his size he could have taken a guard inside and tried to draw a foul. Hill just doesn't have the size to do that. He has to get open. Selfish? Maybe. Not smart? Certainly.... I would like to have seen White draw up a play. Hill's TO came after a timeout IIRC.
