I'm sure Michigan will pull out all the stops. But recent quotes by Rooths may hint at a decision.

"You can put it this way. I talk to Asa Newell all the time. I want to see where he goes. I'm going to wait for him to commit and then commit after him. That's all I know."

ON IF HE WANTS TO GO TO THE SAME PLACE AS NEWELL:

"All I'm saying is that I want it out there publicly that I am waiting on Asa to commit before I commit."

Specifically about his UGA visit, Rooth's said, "The whole environment was great. I really like college towns, hence why all the schools I am looking at are in college towns. I love the coaches there, too."

Now, maybe he wants to play with Asa. He has been said to be a UGA lean for awhile now. Or maybe Asa's commitment gives him more leverage with other schools. I hope that is not the case. Why publicly state that he's waiting on Asa's commitment before committing himself???

He's down to FSU, Va. Tech, Michigan and us. I have heard Tech was out of it. Hamilton at FSU recruits well, but he lost one of his best assistants to Gonzaga, and they struggled mightily last year. Looks like Michigan is the competition here. Howard will probably pull out all the stops. Their only 2 commitments right now are 3 star PGs. Rooths could look at that as a big negative, or Michigan could bust the bank to get him.
