Per Dawg Central, 2023 5-Star Forward MacKenzie Mgbako is planning to visit Georgia. The McDonald's All-American from NJ recently reopened his recruitment after decommitting from Duke.

Now, this would be a helluva signing if White can swing it. We are in some tall cotton with this recruitment. To even get a visit means that things are going on in Athens to support the program. Support may be stronger than in previous years.

Other sites are now reporting that Mgbako is not visiting. Who really knows?

I saw he's scheduled 4 visits for other schools, but didn't see that we were one of them. Perhaps he scheduled a 5th with us.

Yeah, we don't usually run with those schools for BIG recruits. Hearing that Mgbako may not look at UGA because he wants a big NIL deal. Well, he deserves a big NIL deal. He's one of the best incoming freshmen in the country. If we want to attract top players, you have to be willing to pay the price. Not being willing to pay should never be an excuse for UGA.
