Actually, it was more like our Dawgs got drubbed by the No. 4 ranked Vols 70-41. You won't win many games on the road (or anywhere for that matter) shooting 29% from the field, 18% from 3, 41% from the foul line - all while committing 20 TOs. Just a bad performance from this roster. I thought we looked pretty shaky from the very start - very unconfident. We didn't handle the ball well, pass the ball well or shoot the ball well. The Vols were much more physical. Moncrieffe was the leading front court scorer for us with 6 pts. We are very careless with the ball. That just won't get it done. We have to seriously upgrade our roster. White's got his work cut out for him. Oh, and where the hell are our inbounds plays? Why can't we get anyone open when we inbounds the ball? Bad pass after bad pass, TO after TO....

Yeah, that was bad. This was never going to be a win, but after the first ten minutes, we were totally non-competitive. Unacceptable.
Saturday is big for this team and their confidence. That's now 5 straight halves of less-than-ideal/terrible basketball. South Carolina is a game they should win by 10+. Go do it.
While I was unimpressed with everyone - including Coach White - last night, it does feel like this is our first team since Harrick that does not have a coaching-induced ceiling. The ceiling is all talent. This is a good thing...if the staff is capable of recruiting well.

This roster has finally read the name on the front of the jersey. SEC athletes killing them.
Our deficiencies are laid bare on tape now.. I commented after the Vandy debacle we were in a precarious posture. W and L are out the door for me. I need White to try and stabilize the season before it falls off a cliff. Saturday is important.
