I was just about to post this link. Hugh Durham is absolutely correct. "Basically, it just centers around recruiting," said Durham, who is Georgia's winningest coach with 297 victories. "When we had good players, we did OK. That's about as simple as you can get. You've got to be able to recruit the state and pick up some quality players out of the area. You might say, 'Well, we can't recruit Atlanta.' Well, you've got to be able to recruit Atlanta."

Slonaker is well known and well respected. He would be an asset on the staff of a new coach at least in the beginning. His insight into why things have been so bad under several coaches would be invaluable.

Slonaker knows his stuff. He tried to make suggestions, for staffing in particular, to Fox, and his suggestions were ignored.
