That remains to be seen, but the opportunity will be there since walk-ons G Christian Harrison and F Connor O'Neill will both be seniors this fall. Thus the Hoop Dawgs will have room for two players to replace them during the 2019-'20 season. The last UGA student-athlete to play both sports was former UGA TE Jay Rome whom played forward (7 games) during the 2011-'12 season. Fwiw, rumors during early 2013 were that the football coaches persuaded Jay to focus on one sport and he chose football. Thereafter when he got the urge to play basketball he did so at the Ramsey Center.

Both Crean and Kirby have said they are up for it. It's just a question of whether Walker wants to and can do it.

I talked with Tye Fagan a few weeks back. We are from the same high school. He said Trevon has no plans to do both right now. It's nearly impossible to do both in college. The seasons cross over each other. But both are fine basketball players.
