Getting yelled at for stupid, trivial things happens all the time in law firms by partners. This didn't even move the dial for me honestly.

Not saying it's right in terms of being a likeable person, but it isn't some uncommon heinous behavior.

He wasn't known for being easy to work with at IU. This sort of thing only really becomes a problem when you are losing. You can survive being an *******. You can't survive being an ******* that finishes in the bottom 3rd of the SEC every year.

Six years ago UGAWire (aka 'UGA Football Live') copied verbatim my 140-character tweet re: Chris Conley then tweeted it from their account rather than retweeting, liking, or commenting on my tweet.

In this article, the author (Joe Vitale, aka '@UGAWire') used tweets about Tom Crean from the Twitter account "Coaching Changes' (https://twitter.com/CoachingChanges) without citing them as his source. That is, he's acting as if he's a UGA insider ala dawg2727.

If all of the stories are true, why not pull the trigger now? We fired a football coach after a 10 win season because we were all in agreement that the program was trending the wrong way. We fired a basketball coach because he couldn't consistently get us in the postseason and he couldn't seem to recruit but at least he never had a mutiny like we are witnessing now. I know the buyout is large but another year of Crean that will probably be worse than any he has had in Athens will set us back that much further.

The money and finding someone who'd take the job. It would be hard getting an up and coming coach when you fired the last guy after 3 years.

Btw, the Twitter account 'Coaching Changes' that UGAWire plagiarized from isn't even an authentic, verified, blue-check account. Thus they're publishing articles based on third-hand rumors.

This is 100% correct. Again, not saying it's right but this **** happens all the time at law firms, investment banking, etc...

I saw this article and associated web chatter and thought it was cheap. May be true. Equal chance not.

I'm pretty sure whatever is going with Crean that BM is acutely aware. There are posters on here who have such knowledge and have alluded as such.

Hard to hide the exodus of current players. Starters.

Also hard to hide a former assistant coach blessed his nephew signing on, and another recent signee is best friends with a current player who barely played.

Losing exascerbates all flaws. Crean needs to win. Period.
