I have completely given up trying to understand this team. When they rebound like that, and when their shot selection is decent, they have a chance. Will any of these things hold true against Vanderbilt, a terrible team? Your guess is as good as mine.

Keep winning, though! It's more fun than losing...

That's a great question. He really gives us a boost now. I'm sure we might have won a few more games with him playing?
The reason we have won the last two games is shooting. We finally started to ring the basket a lot more. I predicted we would win 10 SEC games. But that was based off of how we had played during the non conference games. We were playing with great hustle, rebounding well, playing pretty good defense, and we had multiple players that were scoring. All of those things work well for winning games. Plus we had great depth in case of foul trouble.
You might be right about us taking some time to figure out how to play together. I hope we continue to play well. Even if we don't win a lot more games.
It's great to see you posting. Most people on here seem to be more on the negative side. I like to talk about what is really happening instead of hoping we lose so we can fire coaches. Please post more often.

I don't think anyone is pulling for them to lose. Just the opposite - I'm pulling for us to stop two decades of losing. But that doesn't mean I and everyone don't note the warts of the past two and a half seasons, too.

The last two games have unquestionably been the best two back to back games of the season. Very positive. Very encouraging. I marveled at the hustle grit and fight showed last night. I F hate Pearl and Auburn.

Now Let's run it out and get that NCAA bid!

This team will only win when many people contribute. I think we had 5 or 6 in double figures in recent games. Since there's no one dominant player, everyone has to get in on the action for us to win.

BTW I missed where McMillan went into the USCe huddle. I wondered why he wasn't playing and only heard later what happened. I guess that explains it. I bet Crean was steaming. What a knucklehead....

Easy to see this coming on the schedule, this is the stretch we had to win a few to keep from becoming an embarrassment. That home stretch is looming. Looks like 7-11 is likely but who knows?

He may be a walk on but I'm impressed with Etter. Seems like he has made some sort of impact every game he gets put in. He has a high basketball IQ. He deserves more minutes.

He played great today, looks like he'll get some minutes going forward.

If I'm a former Top 100 4* and a walk-on is taking my minutes.... it'd be portal time.

But does that say more about Etter or that former top 100 player?

We need to recruit more players like Etter. I wouldn't mind a team of all 3 star players that are tough and smart.

gotta cut down on the turnovers (314th in NCAA is brutal), have better shot selection behind arc, and shoot free throws better. Defense seems to be improving.
