Players signed to two-way contracts can spend a maximum of 45 days in the NBA, with the remainder to come in the developmental league, in the Heat's case with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the G League. Players under such contracts can earn around $275,000 depending on days in the NBA, with the guarantee limited to a maximum of $50,000. A two-way contract can be converted to a standard deal at any time, including during training camp. The minimum salary for a standard NBA contract is $816,000 for 2017-'18.
