Who else is UGA recruiting that they have a legitimate chance of signing during the regular period (14 April - 19 May)? They don't seem to be in on any of the remaining unsigned Top 100 prospects in this class.

3. Texas A&M (#22 nationally, #3 SEC): 5* SG Manny Obaseki, 4* PG Wade Taylor, 3* C Ashton Smith

4. Ole Miss (#28 nationally, #4 SEC): 4* PG Daeshun Ruffin, 3* SG James White [from Conyers, GA], 3* SG Grant Slatten

5. Auburn (#31 nationally, #5 SEC): 5* PF Jabari Smith [from Tyrone, GA], 4* SG Trey Alexander

6. Tennessee (#33 nationally, #6 SEC): 5* PG Kennedy Chandler, 4* SF Jahmal Mashack

This is not exclusively about where guys are from.

It is an asset for UGA. But we travelled the country playing aau. Location, within reason, is not going to matter.

My guess is he'll load up on grad transfers and JUCO like last year - part out of necessity because he's going to have a roster turnover - again. He's caught in a vicious cycle, and he isn't landing the high school kids in the Fall signing period.

He's actually recruited....okay. But too many instate kids are making lateral moves.

Reminds me of Kansas Football recruiting under Charlie Weiss and David Beaty. Loading up on JUCO prospects leading to annual roster shortfalls.
