Crean looks to have put together a roster than play at his preferred tempo and will defend. The Dolphins were big and experienced, and we ran them out of the building. They just couldn't hang. The pace was amazing. Would like to see us knock down perimeter shots a little more consistently, and we will have to really work to defend against good post players, but this team has potential. Wheeler has picked up right where he left off; Camara was amazing against J'ville; we haven't seen the best of Kier yet; Fagan has been really good so far; Garcia has a nice stroke but has to stay out of foul trouble; McMillan, Horne, Brown, and hopefully KD (and maybe Muhammad) give us really good support off the bench. One guy who has impressed me with his effort and defense is Starks; that kid has some Dawg in him; need to see more from Ned and Taylor. But I will say it is refreshing to see us play with effort and to defend like you need to at the major college level. We won't miss Walton one bit, as he just never figured out the type of effort needed at our level. And if his leaving can get us Aminu Muhammad, then that's a damn good trade.

And not to rub salt in the wound, but I've caught a few UNC games. Walker Kessler is up to 7'2" and looks to have a damn good future. Just a shame....
