Fwiw, before Dale enrolled at Clemson in 1987 he travelled to Ramstein Air Base to participate in a USA vs. West Germany All-Star Basketball game. Since I knew he was from Georgia I introduced myself to him after the game. Even though he was only 18 years old he was a stout, grown man who looked like he meant business. Thus it didn't surprise me when he eventually became an NBA 1st Round pick and all-star player.Monkdawg said:
I met Dale Davis a few years back. We all should know that he went to Clemson, but he told me that Durham nearly got him. He was just a beast on the boards. If his kid is anything like him, this would be a good signing for us.
UGA has family tie-ins w/ 2019 3* SG Chase Hunter and 2020 5* C Walker Kessler, so that helps. Some 2019 prospects like 5* PF Armando Bacot, Jr., 4* CG Brenden Tucker, 4* PF CJ Walker, and 4* SG Donovan Williams include UGA in their list of top teams. While that indicates some interest, I'm looking to see if they visit Athens. With 2018-'19 Division I Basketball NLI Signing Early Period (14-21 November) a few months away, there's not a lot of time for Crean/Abdur-Rahim/Dollar/Scott to work their recruiting magic.friendofbob said:
Is there any indication where we stand with any recruit? I continue to see where CTC is making offers. Thanks AFD and Monk.
