Ojulari tore his right ACL on 24 November 2017 then had it surgically repaired on 16 December; yesterday he made 3 tackles vs Texas.

Wilson tore his right ACL on 24 March 2018 then had it surgically repaired 6 days later; yesterday he made 4 tackles w/ 1 TFL and 1 PBU in his season debut for the Dawgs.

I don't know if it was just rust from the layoff or what, but Ojulari had one of the worst missed tackles in the game. About midway through the 2nd qtr, Texas had the ball near their own 35. Ehlinger dropped back to pass and Ojulari came off his block and had a clear shot for the sack. He tried to tackle him too high, and Ehlinger ducked under the tackle and scrambled about 25 yards for a 17 yard gain. Instead of being 2nd & 18 at their own 27 or so, they were 1st & 10 near our 45. They ended up scoring on the drive for their final points of the half. Just one (of many) muffed plays we had on the night that would have completely changed a possession.

It was a bad miss but for a kid playing in a big game-that had played a few snaps all year, promising that he blew past his man-that QB proved to be tough for a LOT of our guys to tackle. Still, love that Ojulari and Wilson got to play so many snaps against Texas, both looked good and will play a vital part on the D next year.

Everybody played terrible tackle wise. They were hanging high on people when, IMHO-as I learned from my coaches, the way to tackle is low on the legs. This is, very much the reason, why UGA lost to Texas. Unable to tackle people.
