The only guy there that played with GUTS was the Texas QB. One man offense and UGA could not tackle worth a flip.

2019 Sugar Bowl stats:

Texas sophomore QB Sam Ehlinger (#11): completed 19 of 27 passes (70.4%) for 169 yds, and rushed 21x for 64 yds (avg. +3.1 ypc) & 3 TDs.

Georgia sophomore QB Jake Fromm (#11): completed 21 of 35 passes (60%) for 224 yds w/ 3 TDs & 1 INT, and rushed 5x for -5 yds (avg. -1.0 ypc).

AFD, IMHO, Ethinger was the force of Texas. He was there when needed, tough to ring down (UGA forgot how to tackle), played with poise, did not force throws, ran wild when needed, and was the lider of the team. I know that CKS didn't play Field because he is leaving and didn't want to look bad in case Fields resurrected UGA. But, I believe that was the classical time to play a double threat QB a-la-Texas and we were let down again.
The D played its heart out and Kudos to it, but the O....may as well stayed in Athens.
