I know he replaced Larry Munson after the latter retired on 22 September 2008 due to health issues (i.e., blood clots in his brain that had to be surgically removed), yet have only caught highlights of Howard announcing UGA Football and Men's Basketball games (whereas I grew up listening to Munson call UGA Football and Basketball games).

He is no Munson but no other Ga broadcaster ever will be. I just wish he wouldn't scream so much during the game.

He is much better at basket ball.

Scott is a nice guy. I like Scott. However, I think we could do better in both football and basketball for a play by play guy. And I absolutely hate Dowdle as color guy for basketball; he brings nothing to the table whatsoever.

He does a good job. It's hard to follow a legend.

This. I had to stop listening to the games. Just do the pregame show now.

No, I do not like his announcing. I too think he screams too much and tries too hard.

He is no Munson nor will there ever be again. That being said I love his enthusiasm and passion for the Dawgs. Scott is good but honestly I just hear his audio clips after the games because I'm watching the live tv broadcast or going to the games. It gives me chills hearing his excitement
