I don't think I've ever seen the Gator fanbase so bitter about a loss than this one. I mean they have really let their little pacifier-sucking feelings get destroyed this time.
If you glance at their forums, they are STILL whining about how they were really the better team and they gave the game away and Kirby can only recruit, he can't coach and Mullen will be king of the CFB by next season, blah, blah, blah....
Gees...show some dignity, man up and suck it up!
And somebody needs to tell them that we started one senior on O against them Saturday...ONE! and that was Gallaird at center. As for next season; Fromm (3 TDs) Hollimon (2 TD receptions) and Swift (100+ yards) are all sophomores! If my math is correct, even if we didn't sign one single 5 star recruit this season, we will STILL have more 5 star players on our roster next season than them. What makes them think it's gonna be a different story next season?
Anyway, I guess they're just gonna have to go through their 5 step grieving process.

Florida loses both of its 5* players from this season in seniors OT Martez Ivey & DL Cece Jefferson. They have no 5* commits for the Class of 2019. Thus unless something changes the Gators won't have any on their roster next season.

In comparison, pending early NFL entrants UGA onlys lose one 5* in senior WR Terry Godwin. However, the Dawgs return 13 5* players in OLB Adam Anderson, CB Tyson Campbell, OLB Brenton Cox, QB Justin Fields, WR Mecole Hardman, S Richard LeCounte, OL Cade Mays, TE Isaac Nauta, WR Demetris Robertson, OL Jamaree Salyer, RB D'Andre Swift, RB Zamir White, and OL Isaiah Wilson. Moreover, three Class of 2019 5* prospects (i.e., WR Dominick Blaylock, DE Nolan Smith, and DT Travon Walker). Thus UGA may have 16 5* players on their roster next season (and they're still in the hunt for 5* OC Clay Webb, 5* WR Jadon Haselwood, et al.).

Thanks for the stats AFD...and i've even seen some threads where they are talking about JF transferring to UF! It's an REO Speedwagon rumor of course; 'Heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend who...' Which is ridiculous. Why in the world would he do that and take a step back. Emory Jones was a high ranking dual threat recruit and is waiting in the wings. Why would he want to transfer over there and end up with possibly a tougher competition, instead of staying with Fromm (pro-style QB) and NO other scholly QBs on the roster!
