Tide vs Red Birds - Like I said a while back, this game might have been interesting if ol Lamar would have hung around. Without him, Louisville went from slight chance to NO chance. Bama 48 UL 17
Meeechigan vs Irish - Looks like a pretty even game here. I think ol Patterson ends up shredding the Irish secondary and jumps early into the Heisman talk. Wolves 37 Catholics 24
Canes vs LSU - I like Miami's LBs and Secondary, they might be the best in the nation. LSU just don't have the star power of teams from the days of yore and I'm not sold on ol coach O yet as the front man. I think Miami rolls and Orgeron finds himself on the hotseat early. Canes 34 LSU 13
Va Tech vs FSU - This looks like pretty good game. But VT has a pretty good QB. Noles need to get off to a good start, or there's gonna be some early grumbling down in Tally. But I think the Hokes win

Volunqueers vs Mountaineers - Not a good start for Pruitt. He's gonna turn Tenny around, but it won't look like it in this game. WV has a reeeeally good O and I can't name one single player on UT's O. Mountain Men 59 Vols 24
Us vs Them - Ok, Reddawg educated me on the fact that AP is a pretty decent lower division team. So I'm not going with a complete massacre here. But the difference will be their really light DL going up against Godzilla, Rodan, King Kong and others on our OL. Too much depth, too much size and strength. They might score once or twice in the first half to make it uncomfortably interesting on our newly rebuilt secondary, but by mid-third quarter, the ground-n-pound takes over and their D-line will need a MASH Unit before it's over.
