I noticed that Shaffer had replaced Hayes at the second string tackle position. He got some praise early last your, but correct me AFD if I'm wrong, he got a little banged up didn't he? Maybe he's ready to make some noise. He looks more like a OG to my untrained eyes, but glad to see him getting back in the lineup.

You're correct. Kirby Smart mentioned on 20 March 2018 that Justin Shaffer underwent knee surgery this past offseason and was out for spring practice.
