AFD, or anybody else in the 'know'....All of these are my 'just curious' questions...lol...

There's a couple of players I haven't heard any talk about or even their name mentioned. Not that it should be something to worry about, since practice hasn't even really got going, but just figured you might could shed some light, if you have any 411 on it...

JR Reed - I don't think I've heard him mentioned at all...all I'm hearing about with the safeties is Lecounte and Gibbs.

Robert Beal - everyone is gushing over the OLBs but haven't heard his name mentioned. Sorta was hoping he would jump in there and make a real impact

Sayler - He wasn't listed on the 2 deep that someone mentioned the other day. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I sorta hoped he'd have the same impact as Thomas did last year, just take us by storm, since some coaches have said he was the best looking OG they'd EVER seen come out of HS.

Woerner - He showed some glimpses of greatness last season. Was expecting another big season from him, but everyone seems to be gushing over Ford as the next 'great thing' at TE.

Anyway, just thought you might have some 'inside operative' stuff to share on these. ???

I've heard that Reed and Woerner have made some nice plays this preseason. Also, Kirby wouldn't have selected J.R. to attend SEC Media Days on 17 July if he weren't a team leader. As for Salyer, he's been working w/ the third team OL and got beat a couple of times at left guard. Fwiw, I haven't heard anything about Beal since spring practice.
