OK, but you say teams play more games now so of course you'll win more games. True, so that would also mean you'll lose more games too, right? Well, in his 1st 4 years, Kirby had 3 seasons with only 1 or 0 regular-season losses. That's more than Nick Saban, Dabo Swinney, Dan Mullen, Urban Meyer, Ed Orgeron, Steve Spurrier, Bear Bryant, Danny Ford, Frank Howard, Pat Dye and Shug Jordan had in their first four years COMBINED.
It took Saban 14 years after becoming a head coach to win a National Championship. It took Dabo 9. It took Spurrier 13 (including his USFL experience). It took Orgeron 15. You mentioned Mack Brown - it took him 23 years! Mullen is 13 years and counting. Cristobal is at 11. Brian Kelley is at 21. And Farrell wants to pile on Kirby after 5 years? What a moron.
