Hey AFD...you got any 'inside operative' stuff on any of the walk-ons, besides what he can just pull up and read in the profiles? Seter and the other two?
Unfortunately, Stetson Bennett was the only walk-on QB that made a splash in the past year. John Seter was a freshman on the team but I heard nary a word about him (and he didn't play in the 2018 G-Day game). Christian Kerut joined the team for spring practice, but didn't play in the G-Day game. Matthew Downing should be joining the team next month.
RS Freshman
John Seter, 6'3", 180 lbs. - completed 117 of 198 (59.1%) passes for 2,002 yds w/ 21 TDs & 9 INTs and rushed 3x for 2 yds as a senior at Lovejoy HS; committed to UGA as a preferred walk-on on 31 January 2017;

Matthew Downing, 5'11.5", 192 lbs. - preferred walk-on committed to UGA on 3 February 2018; Region 7-AAAAAA Offensive POY; completed 185 of 309 (59.9%) passes for 2,569 yds w/ 25 TDs & 5 INTs, rushed 70x for 656 yds (9.4 ypc) & 3 TDs as a senior:
https://www.hudl.com/profile/4061588/Matthew-DowningFwiw, if Jake Fromm and Justin Fields went down w/ injuries this season, Kirby would call on Mecole Hardman and/or Tray Bishop to play the position as they were HS QBs.
