The Eagles added veteran linebacker and special teamer LaRoy Reynolds on Tuesday. Rookie free agent safety Dominick Sanders was waived to make room on the roster.

How can two teamss: Eagles and Cowboys sign the same player at the same time? Who pays him? Who does he play for during the season? Would it be that Sanders was released by Eagles and picked up by Cowboys? No info on how he landed in Dallas.

If you follow the thread from top to bottom, then you'll see that the Eagles signed Sanders as an UDFA on 11 May 2018, released him four days later, then the Cowboys signed him a few months later on 20 August.
