Fwiw, I'm not a Dawg Post staff member or administrator, so Dean Legge (owner) or StalkinDawg (moderator) may be the right folks to talk with about affecting change here (or sitewide).

I've been on DawgPost since 2003. The only place I went to until the "change." That sent a lot of posters off in droves, good and bad. Never was a fan of the new format under 247/Scout format but I did lurk and tried to post but my access was denied. Not banned, but forgotten...by me and the sight. With this said,

I did not see any information as to the Board change on the Dawg Post forum except for a thread from "Darin" posting about "RIP" etc. Stalkin mentioned the change and something about typing in "dawgpost.com". Doing that is the only way I found the new site. All my previous bookmarks just sent me to the end of no where. If the ones that didn't see that, and are a little tech slow.....well, it's going to take time for them to find it.

Hopefully they will start to come. I'm sure they will.

On 25 March 2018 Dean Legge made a post informing 'The Porch' ($) subscribers that he (owner), Matt DeBary (recruiting expert), and Dylan Webber (reporter) were moving the 'Dawg Post' website to another platform (independent of CBS Sports and 247Sports) on 3 April. Due to legal delays, the official transition didn't happen until mid-afternoon on 5 April.

Perhaps it would have been better if someone on staff had also informed those on the non-pay boards (e.g., 'Dawg Post', 'Hoop Dawgs') of the impending change and new URL. Fwiw, all the posts on the old board are locked now. Those that had current subscriptions automatically rolled over to 247Sports 'The Junkyard' website (a mixture of $ and free posts). Many of those that tried to cancel through Scout's customer service were offered an extension of 4-5 free months (albeit on 'The Junkyard'), but did not receive any pro-rated refunds for unused months on their annual plan from Scout. However, Dean will add those months free of charge to those that re-up with the new 'Dawg Post' website.

Fwiw, Dean is also offering new subscribers a trial $1 for one month subscription on the new 'The Porch' website and $12/month afterwards (increase to pay for dedicated coverage from Matt and Dylan).

We need to get the band back together. Mama, Atlskin, DawgofWar, Fgruber, JWP1983,Darin, Salty, DjsDawg and I know there was more. This layout is going to be much more user friendly.

Stalkin ... I know a Salty and Mrs. Salty have had a world of health problems over the past year(s). Don't know anything else ... you heard anything? I miss having him aroud.

I haven't , not in many months. His son went by Dexterdawg but I haven't seen him around either.
