ATHENS - After a quiet recruiting weekend last week, the Georgia staff will host some of their major targets this upcoming weekend.

Dawg Post has confirmed the following prospects will be in Athens this weekend.

Official Visitors:

Kaiir Elam - Sources say the four-star cornerback is down to just Georgia and Florida, and after an official visit to Florida last weekend, Kirby Smart will get his final shot to host one of Florida's best defenders. Elam has been considered a Florida lean for some time now, but Georgia has made him a top priority since last summer.

George Pickens - The longtime Auburn commit has kept in touch with Georgia's staff since the fall and will be taking his official to Georgia this weekend. The long, athletic read-zone weapon is very close to Auburn quarterback signee Bo Nix, and sources say the Tigers are still in the best shape to sign him in February. The Georgia staff would love to sign another receiver in this class so expect the entire staff to help recruit Pickens this weekend. There are possible grade concerns here too which is also something to monitor.

Mark-Antony Richards - The four-star athlete decided to make a last minute visit to Georgia for this weekend. The 6-foot-1 195-pound Florida native appears to have Miami and Auburn atop his current list. It's clear the staff wants to take another offensive weapon and Richards is one of the top-ranked uncommitted athletes in the country.

Brett Seither - The Bulldogs are losing two tight ends from the 2018 team, and with the injury to signee Ryland Goede, the Georgia staff is going all out for the three-star from Maryland. TCU appears to be the team to beat, but it's clear the Georgia staff has made him a priority. Assistant coaches Dell McGee and Todd Hartley have both traveled north to meet with Seither in recent weeks. Georgia's new hire of Todd Hartley could be a major factor here.

Javonne Sheperd - Numbers are tight, but the Georgia staff really wants to take another offensive lineman in this class. The Texas native is a gigantic 6-foot-6 330-pounds, and sources say the Bulldogs are ahead of a few other teams heading into this visit. Look for Sam Pittman to give Sheperd the red-carpet treatment this weekend.

Other Visitors:

2020 DL commit Jamil Burroughs (McEachern, GA)
2020 WR Eddie Williams (Central, AL)
2020 DL Eric Taylor (Hewitt-Trussville, AL)
2019 Sevaughn Clark (Dawsonville, GA) ***possible walk-on position.
