ATHENS - Georgia offensive coordinator Jim Chaney has two years remaining on his contract with UGA.

That is according to UGA spokesman Claude Felton. The confirmation comes in the midst of coaching rumors that Tennessee was or continues to be interested in Chaney returning to be offensive coordinator for the Vols.

Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt has not hired an offensive coordinator for the 2019 season. The Vols were 108th in the country on offense - scoring 22.8 points per game.

“Chaney’s current contract goes through the 2020 season,” Felton confirmed.
