Top Georgia Football Commit Releases Eye-Opening Mid-Season Highlights

ATHENS - Nobody’s doing it better than Georgia football assistant Todd Hartley.

Especially on the recruiting trail. Hartley has built arguably the best tight end room in college football and has two dynamic tight ends on the commit list. 

One of them is Georgia legacy and four-star playmaker, Asa Wall‍. The son of former Bulldog fullback JT Wall, Asa is a do-it-all athlete at John Milledge Academy (GA) who is dominating all over the field through the first half of his junior season.

One of the nation’s top tight end prospects in the 2028 class, Wall is a gifted athlete at 6-foot-3 230-pounds who shines in all three phases of the game.

Through his first six games Wall has been a dominant force at linebacker, securing 39 tackles, 12 TFLs and three sacks. He’s broken up one pass, recovered one fumble, and has blocked two punts on special teams.

On offense, Wall has done everything but throw it. As a runner, Wall has carried the ball 51 times for 400 yards and 13 touchdowns, rushing for at least two touchdowns in five of his six games. He’s also hauled in 18 passes for 424 yards and five more scores.

The numbers are impressive, but that’s not the whole story. Wall is making it look easy at times while also showing tremendous athleticism and ball skills. His toughness stands out on defense with his ability to deliver a vicious hit on the ball-carrier.

On offense, his body control and soft hands, along with his ability to break tackles, makes a weapon in several different ways. He can line up as a traditional tight end, on the perimeter as a receiver, and out of the backfield to either carry out a block or run the ball himself.

He’s a natural football player. He understands the game. He’s versatile, athletic, and consistently makes plays no matter where he is on the field.
