ATHENS - There’s finally light at the end of the tunnel.
While the summer is slowly dragging along, the college football season is just under two months away. Fall camp is starting back in a few weeks, but before that happens, Kirby Smart and his staff are hoping to add more commitments in the 2027 class.
The Dawgs have 17 current commitments with a handful of spots left.
Here’s where Georgia sits with some of their remaining 2027 targets...
4-star DL Kadin Fife
We’ve reported throughout the summer that the new Cherokee County (AL) defensive lineman was a major flip target for the Bulldogs. The big 6-foot-5 290-pounder had been committed to the Vols since late November but opened up his recruitment back on June 24th. While some sources thought this would be an immediate flip to Georgia, the impressive interior defender is still opened in his recruitment.
Still, there are several sources who believe the Bulldogs are the team to beat behind the scenes for the four-star defensive tackle. Last season at Chattooga (GA), Fife made 48 tackles, 16 TFLs, eight sacks, three forced fumbles and multiple blocks on special teams. He’s currently ranked as the No. 38 DL prospect and the No. 370 overall prospect in the 2027 class.

4-star DB Adryan Cole
One of Georgia’s top remaining targets on defense, Cole has been a long-time safety target who will be making his commitment July 18th. Right now, sources say the Dawgs are in the best position to land him. As a junior last season, Cole made 69 tackles, two TFLs, one INT and several more pass-breakups for Douglas County (GA). He’s ranked as the No. 16 safety and the No. 191 overall prospect in the country.
“What makes Georgia special to me is the culture and the people. The official visit in mid-June was great from start to finish. Being around the coaches, players, and staff showed me how connected everyone is and the standard they hold themselves to every day. Athens was a great experience, and getting to see everything firsthand definitely left a strong impression on me.”
On tape it’s clear the 6-foot-1 190-pounder plays hard, shows good instincts in coverage, and is fundamentally sound with his footwork, change of direction, and ability to wrap up the ball-carrier consistently.
3-star DB Seth Williams
Another in-state safety to keep an eye on, Williams is still uncommitted and sources say this continues to be a Georgia/Clemson battle with no specific timetable for a commitment. The Lakeside (GA) standout is a former Clemson commitment who could still be leaning the Tiger’s way behind the scenes. The 6-foot-3 190-pounder from Atlanta had plans to commit on July 3rd but decided to take more time making a decision.
As a junior last season Williams made 73 tackles with five TFLs, two INTs, one forced fumble, and five more pass-breakups in coverage. He’s currently ranked as the No. 35 safety and the No. 364 overall prospect in the country.
4-star OL Miller Westerfield
While the Bulldogs already have five offensive line commitments, sources still say that Georgia fans should keep an eye on the nasty Roswell offensive tackle. A quiet young man with a mean streak on the field, Westerfield stands at 6-foot-5 285-pounds who was outstanding for the Hornets in 2025.
The Fulton County native earned an offer from the Bulldogs on February 2nd and also holds offers from Tennessee, LSU, among others. If the Georgia staff decided to push for another offensive lineman, Westerfield could be the answer. He’s currently ranked as the No. 31 OT prospect and the No. 392 overall prospect in the nation.
3-star CB Preston Glasco
A new defensive back target who earned an offer from the Bulldogs this summer, Glasco is an in-state cornerback at Grayson (GA) who has flown up Georgia’s board over the last several weeks. A current UCONN commit, Glasco stands at 6-foot-2 190-pounds with a close eye on the in-state powerhouse. Glasco is very familiar with Georgia after taking an official visit and could be Georgia’s lone cornerback commitment if he decided to jump on board.
“The biggest message to me was that coming to Georgia would be a great opportunity”, Glasco told Dawg Post. “They told me that my ceiling is very high and that I haven’t even scratched my peak yet. UGA is structured in so many ways and the coaches feel like I can get developed there and turn into a whole different breed.”
Glasco is ranked as the No. 146 CB prospect in the country for the 2027 class.

3-star ATH Jacobi Pasley
One of the fastest and most electric prospects in Georgia, Pasley is a track star from the Savannah area who can create explosiveness any time he has the ball. A current West Virginia commitment, Pasley brings natural speed and good size at 5-foot-11 180-pounds, Pasley took an official visit to Georgia last month and is a possible flip target for the Bulldogs both on offense and special teams.
The dynamic ball-carrier had 26 carries for 173 yards and 4 touchdowns as a junior last fall while also catching 25 passes for 430 yards and 6 more scores. He’s ranked as the No. 55 RB prospect in the country.
