ATHENS - It is the time of the season where predictions are made in college football, and the Walter Camp Football Foundation just made one about the Georgia Bulldogs.
Three Dawgs were named to Walter Camp’s preseason All-American teams. Kirby Smart’s squad is one of six teams that have at least three players on the list.
Safety KJ Bolden made the first team defense as one four defensive backs. Cornerback Ellis Robinson IV made the second Team defense in the same regard. In addition, center Drew Bobo made the second team offense.
Bolden is Georgia’s leading returning tackler. He racked up 76 stops last season as well as two interceptions. He has been starting since he got to Athens and is predicted to have a huge season as a potential first round NFL Draft pick next year.
Robinson IV redshirted in 2024 after being one of the highest-ranked recruits that has ever gone to Georgia. His talent flashed more and more as the 2025 season went along and has high expectations as Georgia’s top corner in 2026.
Bobo started for the first time last season and will lead the Bulldog offensive line in his fifth year. Injuries held him out of the end of the season and the spring, but there is no indication that his job is in any danger of losing at this time.
These names will be pretty common on preseason All-America lists, in addition to a couple of others who might crack one.
