Georgia Recruiting Notes: Dawgs Set To Sign Giant Offensive Line Class

ATHENS - It may sound crazy to some, but Georgia’s 2027 recruiting class is not falling off a cliff.
Yes, the Dawgs are stacking up three-star defenders left and right, but it’s clear the Georgia staff is using their resources on offense in this current recruiting cycle. In fact, one of the strengths of Georgia’s class at the moment is on the offense line.
Here’s a recap of who the Dawgs are bringing in...
4-star OT Kennedee Jackson:
One of the top offensive tackle prospects across the South. Jackson is a dominant 6-foot-6 300-pound tackle at Lithonia (GA) who fires off the ball and consistently buries defenders into the ground. He moves extremely well and holds 300-pounds easy due to his lean frame and long arms. He’s a bully in the run game with enough athleticism to keep improving as a pass-protector.
His size, mobility, and terrific junior film had him towards the top of Georgia’s board throughout the winter and into the spring. Jackson committed to Florida earlier this summer, but after an official visit to Georgia in mid-June, the Bulldogs were able to flip him from the Gators on June 13th.
Jackson is current ranked as the No. 6 OT prospect and the No. 81 overall prospect in the nation. If he continues to work hard and develop over time, Jackson has a multi-year starter potential at either left or right tackle in Athens.

4-star OT Kelsey Adams
Another outstanding tackle prospect in the Atlanta area, Adams is a mean, athletic left tackle at Langston Hughes (GA) who can play in space and punish linebackers at the second level. At 6-foot-5 320-pounds, Adams moves extremely well and gives max-effort on every snap. He plays hard, is naturally strong, and like Jackson, has no problem putting defenders into the ground.
Adams committed to Georgia back on September 27th, but schools like LSU, Mississippi State, and North Carolina are all pushing hard for a flip. The Bulldogs appear to be in a good position to keep him on board, but they’ll have to keep the pressure on. Adams has made it clear he wants to play left tackle and has a great relationship with Smart and the offensive staff.
Adams is currently ranked as the No. 12 OT prospect and the No. 138 overall prospect in the country.
3-star OT Ty Johnson
An out-of-state tackle on the rise who has a real chance to earn four-star status when it’s all said and done, Johnson is an impressive 6-foot-6 305-pound tackle at Lucy Beckham (SC) who can’t wait to be a Bulldog. He’s a pancake machine on film due to his natural size, strength, and aggressive style of play.
This is a young man who loves the Georgia football program and will play with tremendous effort and pride the second he gets to campus. He also brings versatility as he’ll be able to play both tackle or guard when he gets to Athens. Johnson is ranked as the No. 45 tackle prospect and the No. 519 overall prospect in the country.
3-star OL DJ Dotson
An out-of-state tackle who committed to Georgia back on May 31st, Dotson will bring easy size and above-average strength at 6-foot-7 350-pounds, giving the Bulldogs another giant offensive lineman with the potential to turn into a starter down the road. Another mauler in the run game who needs to keep improving in pass-protection, Dotson brings a frame you can’t teach and more versatility as he played left tackle at Hattiesburg (MS) with the ability to move inside once he gets to Athens. Ranked as the No. 47 OT prospect, Dotson is a promising lineman who could be one of the largest players on the roster down down the road.
3-star OG Abram Eisenhower
A versatile in-state lineman with a passion for Georgia football., Eisenhower grew up a Bulldog fan and will bring toughness and a physical style of play to Georgia’s line in the future. The Lowndes (GA) lineman stands at 6-foot-5 285-pounds and is ranked as the No. 43 interior line prospect in the nation. Playing against some really impressive South Georgia defensive linemen, Eisenhower consistently blew defenders off the ball and opened up running lanes in the trenches for the Vikings offense. His best football is ahead of him, and if he reaches his full potential, Eisenhower could really surprise people with his play at the next level.
