ATHENS - After flipping elite offensive tackle Kennedee Jackson‍ from the Gators last week, Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs slip another top target in the 2027 class.

This time it’s dynamic wide receiver Jamir Dean‍ who flips his commitment from Penn State to Georgia. The sure-handed wideout from Tennessee committed to Penn State on May 1st before earning an offer from the Bulldogs a week later.

After taking official visits this summer to both Penn State and Georgia, the four-star from Alcoa (TN) ended up choosing Athens.

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, the Green Bay Packers have +2200 odds of winning the Super Bowl next season.

What will Dean bring to Athens?

Speed, versatility, and natural athleticism.

A multi-sport standout and a natural athlete, Dean is a major weapon on the gridiron as a vertical weapon in the passing game. At 6-foot-1 175-pounds, Dean brings a lean frame and impressive burst that allows him to sneak past defensive backs down the field. He can change directions quickly, creates separation with ease, and has the ability to score anytime he has the ball in the open field.

As a junior last fall Dean caught 53 passes last season for 1,141 yards and 16 touchdowns. He’s ranked as the No. 35 WR prospect and the No. 226 overall prospect in the country for the 2027 class.
