The Georgia Bulldogs has one of the most passionate and biggest athletic programs in the NCAA. Different teams compete across various sports, with college football arguably attracting the biggest fandom.

Even the Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart has stirred the pot of fans across the NCAA by saying that the SEC should break away from the NCAA and govern itself. He noted that he is frustrated by the endless legal disputes that don’t lead to penalties for whichever team breaks the rules and wants a more even playing field when salaries and finances are in question.

The Georgia Bulldogs have passionate fans who don't hesitate to travel along on away days. Bulldogs fans are known for taking over opposition stadiums in big numbers. A prime example is the matchup between the Bulldogs and Notre Dame in South Band. About 30,000 Georgia fans flooded the Notre Dame stadium, helping their team to a 20-19 win.

In 2025, in a game against Alabama, fans who attended the game were provided with an LED bracelet that lit up at the start of the fourth quarter. Through actions like this, the club’s hierarchy seems to understand that its fans are unique and they recognise the effort they put week in week out.
