Offense: A

Wow was Georgia’s offense clicking today. It put up its fourth-straight 200-yard rushing game, compiling 285 yards. D’Andre Swift racked up another 100-yard performance, posting 105 yards on 14 carries with a touchdown. His partner in crime, Elijah Holyfield, was right there with him with 79 yards on nine carries with a touchdown of his own. Jake Fromm continued his trend of elite efficiency, completing 13-of-16 passes for 175 yards and four (!) touchdowns. This offense has got great momentum right now and it is coming at the most opportune time for Georgia.

Defense: A

Georgia Tech’s two offensive touchdowns came late in the second half when the game was already decided. Georgia was ELITE going up against this kooky offense. Jonathan Ledbetter was on a new level, racking up nine total tackles, five of them being solo. Jordan Davis also came up with big plays, most notably his sack on fourth down inside of Georgia Tech territory. That play served as such a huge momentum swing for UGA. For such a tough offense to deal with, this group easily earned an A and some bonus points, too.

Special teams: B-

I think this is really the only part of Georgia’s game that can be knocked. The touchdown return allowed was bad. Bad bad bad. That is something that cannot happen next week if UGA wants any chance of winning. Other than that though, Georgia looked fine. Rodrigo Blankenship went 1-of-2 on field goals, but the one he missed was a 48 yarder, so we’ll give him a pass. Mecole Hardman had a 25-yard punt return, to little surprise. Jake Camarda, in his one attempt, boomed it for a solid 45 yards. Besides the one crucial mess-up, an overall good day for the special teams' units.

Coaching: A

Kirby and Mel Tucker deserve a lot of credit for how well they prepared this defense for today. The triple-option is very, very tough to deal with and prepare for. Just look at how The Citadel did against Alabama (in the first half). This stuff can really trip people up, but Kirby and the defensive staff had none of it.
