BREAKING: Kirby, UGA Football Add Another USC Trojan from the Transfer Portal
ATHENS - Kirby Smart and UGA Football are on a roll. For the second time Thursday, the Bulldogs pulled in a piece from the NCAA Transfer Portal.
USC DB Braylon Conley told Dawg Post he will transfer to the Bulldogs and have three years of eligibility renaming. It is the third time in three seasons a former USC player has left Los Angeles for Athens.
“We discussed the team and overall program,” Conley told Dawg Post’s Matt DeBary of his decision. “UGA has a great system, and I can see why Coach Smart has had so much success. They have a really great staff in the building. Coach Smart is a very genuine person, and I love his approach to player development and his coaching style.”
The Texas native spent his freshman season with the Trojans this fall and made ten tackles with one forced fumble and one pass defended. The 6-foot, 190-pounder was in Athens over the weekend.
