ATHENS - UGA Football LB CJ Allen declared for the NFL Draft Monday - a move that was expected.
Allen said on social media that had grown up during his time at Georgia.
"This experience has played a major role in shaping me, not only as a player, but as a man, and has prepared me for the next step ahead," Allen wrote on social media. "With faith and purpose, and as this chapter comes to a close, I am officially declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft.”
Allen is the third Bulldog to apply for early entry into the NFL. DL Christen Miller announced his decision to enter the draft process on Saturday. Zachariah Branch made his decision to leave earlier on Monday.
