Kirby Smart and the Bulldog lose a four-star wide receiver commitment during the second day of the Signing Day period.

After visiting Athens recently for the Texas game, Marchese has now flipped his commitment and has signed with the Michigan Wolverines, leaving Georgia with two wide receiver signees in the 2026 class. Both Craig Dandridge and Ryan Mosely, have signed and will be with the Bulldogs this month for Bowl Prep.

Marchese chose the Bulldogs over Michigan earlier this year and had been a steady Bulldog commitment for most of the fall. The Wolverines never gave up, and now Marchese, one of the top wide receiver prospects in Georgia, is headed to Ann Arbor.

The 6-foot-1 185-pounder out of Cartersville (GA) is ranked as the No. 27 wide receiver prospect in the country for the 2026 class.
