ATHENS - Kirby Smart and UGA Football were ranked No. 4 in the third College Football Playoff Committee rankings of the year Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs are ranked No. 4 in both the Coaches’ and AP Poll as well. Kirby Smart’s one-loss Bulldogs have played well over the past few weeks.

The Bulldogs slammed Texas 35-10 Saturday.  Then the Dawgs face off with Charlotte Saturday afternoon on SEC Network at 12:45. UGA is considered a 43.5-point favorite to win that game. Georgia will conclude its regular season with a Black Friday game on ABC at 3:30 against No. 16 Georgia Tech at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

The Bulldogs have wins over No. 20 Tennessee, No. 17 Texas and No. 6 Ole Miss and a loss to No. 10 Alabama, meaning the Dawgs have played one of the most-difficult schedules in college football this season.
