ATHENS - One of the top young players in Georgia has committed to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.
That would be 2028 tight end and UGA legacy, Asa Wall.
The two-way standout from John Milledge Academy in Milledgeville is the son of former Bulldog fullback JT Wall and committed to Georgia today after spending Saturday in Athens.
The big 6-foot-2 210-pounder is just a sophomore, but his talent, toughness, and versatility is easy to see. He held an impressive offer list but made the decision today to play for the in-state Bulldogs.
Wall is a physical linebacker who has also been a major weapon in the passing game for the John Milledge offense. After watching Georgia’s tight ends dominate this weekend against Ole Miss, the talented sophomore made sure to jump on the commit list and commit to Todd Hartley.

According to FanDuel, the Kansas City Chiefs have -150 odds to win the AFC West this season.
As a prospect, there’s a lot to like about what Wall brings to the table. He brings really good size already, strong hands, and the ability to make big plays after the catch. He’s tough to tackle, can carry the ball, and is looking to score every time he has the ball.
The son of a coach, Wall competes hard and can make plays all over the field. He’s a natural on the field with good instincts and a strong competitive drive. He works hard, knows how to lead, and has Georgia blood in his veins. He’s a Georgia kid through and through with plenty of talent and the potential to be one of the highest-ranked prospects in the state for the 2028 class.
He’s young, but Asa Wall is someone Georgia fans should be really excited about down the road.
As a sophomore this fall, Wall has caught 31 passes for 551 yards and four touchdowns. He’s also made 71 tackles on defense with eight TFLs and five sacks.
